The Cincinnati Bengals suffered their most heart-breaking playoff loss under Marvin Lewis, as a crucial fumble by Jeremy Hill and dumb penalties by Vontaze Burfict and Adam Jones led to the 18-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Well it looks like the undisciplined and embarrassing performance by Burfict, Jones, and the others have cost Lewis his job...... is what I should be typing, but the Bengals management seems to be okay with 0-7 in the playoffs. Yes, if you didn't notice 'Untrue News' is in the headline, but my point is that this SHOULD be a real headline.
Now I do like Lewis and I think he's a good coach, but how many chances can someone get? I mean 0-7, come on man. I know the Bengals were underdogs in a few of those games, but if their management can't see that they'll never take that next step with Lewis, then you have to try something else. Yesterdays meltdown at Paul Brown Stadium should be an indicator that Lewis can't control this group of thugs.
