The Baltimore Ravens had high hopes for WR Breshad Perriman when they selected him with their first round draft pick in 2015. A minor PCL injury in training that was supposed to be day-to-day turned into week-to-week, month-month, all the way to season ending IR. Quite a bizarre set of circumstances to spray the least.
After a bit of soul train searching, Perriman has decided to hang up the cleets. He had this to say......
"Last year was tough man. I was all set to return this year, but when I walked out my house the paper boy threw the newspaper at my knees. Doctor said I'd probably be day-today. I was like bye Felicia. And why am I saying that? It's from a movie from 1994 man. Oh well, still better then those crying Jordan's"
Due to Perriman announcing his retirement, the Ravens have decided to sign another receiver who won't have these same durablilty issues....Wes Welker
