With the NBA Draft Lottery come and gone, it's now time to focus on the NBA Draft. The draft will be held on June 25, but it appears as if we won't have to wait for the usual draft day drama.

The New York Knicks who shamefully tanked the 2014 season away, only came away with the #4 selection. However the Knicks front office didn't feel as if the #4 selection would be good enough to get them back to a sub .500 team that get's their rear-ends kicked in the first round of the playoffs. To accomplish that feat they need to trade for the #1 pick and that's precisely what they've done. The Knicks have traded the #4 pick, along with the corpse of Jose Calderon and Carmelo Anthony's ego to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the coveted #1 spot.

Upon hearing the news of this trade Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, D'Angelo Russell, Emmanuel Mudiay, and pretty much every other top ten talent have all decided to go back to their respective colleges for the next year.

In other news Phil Jackson has left the team after only one year. His explanation "What the hell was I thinking? The Knicks? Oh well, I'm going back to L.A. and my little Laker girl over there. Peace be with you Knicks, perhaps someday the NBA will start giving out participation trophies"
